Ten years ago, we developed the LM Zorgshop webshop as one of the first healthcare shops by a health insurance fund in Belgium. After a successful initial phase and a huge increase in online sales, the tool was further expanded as a primary service within the health insurance fund. We gave the webshop a thorough update on both the front-end and back-end and continued our long-standing collaboration.
A major update! We took online design and UI trends into account and delivered a contemporary design that perfectly matches the image of the Liberal Mutuality. Discounts, favourites lists, dynamic opening hours, a personal shopping account for customers, birth and sports vouchers... LM Zorgshop is off to a faster start than ever!
We develop everything tailored to the customer. After all, it often doesn't stop at just one assignment. LM Zorgshop is the perfect example of this. In the past, we also developed the cash register system used by all care shops and offices, the customer and stock management system, the order picking system, etc. for the Liberal Mutuality.
When we were asked to revamp the webshop, our approach meant we didn't have to start from scratch and could build on a solid foundation.
We didn't develop a complicated webshop, but a user-friendly platform where every visitor can intuitively find their way around. The user interface showcases the products beautifully and gives visitors the confidence to make a purchase.
At LM Zorgshop, we made it easy to manage the large amount of content thanks to the user-friendly content management system Creem. The LM Zorgshop communications team can update everything in just a few clicks and is in complete control.
A faster and smarter search function based on data insights from previous years. We integrated the latest technologies and ensured that all products can be searched through in a well-thought-out manner. Visitors can now find their desired product in 1-2-3 and proceed to purchase more quickly. If a product has disappeared from the range, the search function will come up with an alternative!
Members of LM East Flanders receive a 15% discount in the webshop when they enter their national registration number. As a member, you regularly receive gift vouchers for specific events, which can also be redeemed on the website. This is a fully automated procedure, as everything is linked in the platform. We have also developed the option of additional promotions, as well as the possibility of organising special campaigns, e.g. “end of series”.
All visitors can create an account on the webshop. This can be done during the checkout process or in advance via an online registration form. Users with an account can save personal favourites and view their orders/history.
It is also possible to save favourites without a personal shop account. However, we cannot guarantee that these will be visible on different devices. Does the customer want to be sure they can view their favourites anywhere? If so, it is even quicker to create an account.
As a web agency, we are committed to GDPR and always think along with you to find the best way to ensure the discretion and protection of customer data. A well-run web shop and organisation means a lot of data that needs to be managed properly and, above all, securely. We focus on transparent consent and clear privacy guidelines, robust password security and extensive logging so that administrators can quickly detect suspicious activity. The platform uses automatic detection to continuously perform checks to ensure that customers can shop online with peace of mind.
The presence of physical shops increases conversion rates on a webshop. That is why we provide customers with as much information as possible about the accessibility of all shops and offices. By using dynamic opening hours, which automatically take closing days into account and thus always display the current opening hours, customers are never faced with closed doors. Customers can see at a glance which shops/offices are open and make the right choice when planning their visit.
