Over the past few days, Meyvaert has received international media attention following a special project. The Ghent-based company has developed the high-tech display case in which the world-famous Bayeux Tapestry will soon be exhibited at the British Museum in London. This prestigious achievement once again puts Meyvaert’s expertise in the global spotlight.
This innovative approach is now also reflected in their digital services.
Together with Citizens, Meyvaert developed the museum design assist tool: an online platform that enables architects, exhibition designers and museum professionals to explore, configure and technically assess the possibilities offered by museum display cases. As the first online product configurator for museum display cases, the tool brings design and engineering together at an early stage.
In this way, Citizens helps design teams make decisions more quickly, collaborate more efficiently and better align ideas with technical capabilities. It is a digital extension of the expertise with which Meyvaert helps museums worldwide to present and protect their valuable collections.
For Citizens, this is a fine example of a partnership that has been growing for over 10 years. Over the years, we have supported Meyvaert with digital solutions that bring together technology, design and user experience. We are proud to support Meyvaert in their digital growth and to help build solutions that strengthen their international ambitions.
